Essential criteria
What we expect during placement
We welcome applications from all sections of the community. We seek applications from people of different backgrounds, communities and orientations. If you are a trained counsellor, psychotherapist, or counselling/clinical psychologist, we also want to hear from you.
Once we assess your application, you may be invited for an interview. If successful, we will arrange an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. A clear agreement between the student, Act for Change as the placement provider, supervisor, and the university must be in place before the placement begins.
